Hilarious picture book. Snappsy is annoyed with the narrator the whole time and the humor is very approachable.

Poor Snappsy the Alligator is just trying to go about his day, but the narrator makes assumptions about Snappsy's dietary choices. Then the narrator disparages Snappsy's home. To liven up the story, Snappsy throws a party and then invites the narrator. We get to meet the hen who, against his wishes, told the details of Snappy's life, and all ends well, with Snappsy not eating any of his guests.
I'm unsure how this will work when reading it to kids, but it seems a good way to introduce them to breaking the fourth wall, something different for a picture book. Nice illustrations and some funny moments.

Már a borítóból is látszik, hogy ez az a fajta vicces könyv, ahol a karakter beszól a narrátornak. Általában be szokott jönni, és most is így lett. A narrátor meséli a magáét a képek alapján, de valójában a jórésze csak az aligátor sztereotípiáján alapul és semmi köze a valósághoz. Mivel a valóság unalmas, ezért szegény aligátor még egy partit is rendez gyorsan a nyájas olvasónak. Aranyos volt. :)

Snappsy the Alligator is none too happy when an annoying narrator follows him around describing his every move. Breaking the fourth wall all up in this book. Loved it!
