I read this book years ago and I enjoyed it. I'm rewatching the series so thought I would reread the book. It is a pleasure as it is like an episode in a book.

Odd. It kind of bears the same resemblance to the tv show that most fiction bears to reality.

I was totally and completely into this book, turning the pages and not being able to put it down... until Heat and Rook got together. Then the whole thing turned somewhat weird. It was still good but I felt the mystery started to get lost behind the story of their awkward relationship. I still enjoyed the book and give kudos to the ghost writer who did this. I am also highly amused by the fact that they put it out as if Castle had written it himself, loved that. I can't wait to get season 2 of Castle to see if the book is mentioned. Overall, I liked it and would recommend it to any Castle fans out there!

I read this years ago. Don’t quite remember what it was about but I do remember liking it. I will probably re-read it eventually.

I listened to the audiobook version and I really struggled with the voice of the narrator to the extent I hardly cared about the story, which was interesting but lacked originality, leaving a feeling of been there, read that, could we please have something new? I know nothing about the TV show "Castle" and have no background info on the characters. However, I find a reporter gaining first hand access to crime scenes by accompanying and following a detective around absurd as he is not just an observer, but in a position to observe and even intervene.

Entretenido y liviano, me considero una fanatica de la serie Castle y leer Ola de Calor me hacia recordar la primera temporada de la serie! xD por fin puedo entender por que Beckett se enojo tanto por el libro
