This book was so fantastical. A bit confusing at times because the dates are sometimes not chronological but it was beautiful. The imagery was amazing I almost at times felt like I was enjoying the scenes first hand. I loved this and probably will re read eventually. I started it as an audiobook which actually confused me so when I switched to just reading it everything made more sense. Loved it!

This was really good but I probably would have enjoyed it more reading vs listening on audiobook. I liked the love story between Marco and Celia. I liked all the different perspectives throughout the story. It was a unique story with the circus. Just difficult to follow along on audio.

beautifully enchanting story of a truly magical circus, and how it was created. the detail and the style of the circus makes me really wish there were such a thing. better, in my opinion, than Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel.
