I almost didn't finish this because it wasn't exciting me. I am glad I chose to finish it but I am unsure if I will read the next one when kt comes out next year. I love the story conceptually but it didn't quite hit the spot for me.

Enjoyed more than the first. There's enough here to grab me and I'm looking forward to Book 3. Agree with other reviews: I'm not as into Medra & Blake's relationship as much as I want to be...so much of the drama could be avoided if they just tried to talk to one another! On the other hand, I think the characters have genuinely complex back stories which impact their actions and make sense in that way.

I loved the plot twists in these books🤯. I definitely didn’t predict any of them. The ending was really really fast and chaotic, but that is the type of cliffhanger I live for if I'm honest😂 I will now have to wait 9 months till te next one comes out 🥴

omg this book was pretty good. this series tends to be a little slow at times but it was still enjoyable!
i definitely enjoyed this one a little more than the first (honestly that might change). i cannot wait for the third book to come out, as this book ended on a little bit of a cliffhanger.
