I will probably was the next one. It wasn't as good as the False Prince for me, but definitely worth reading.

Officially DNFed. Just was too predictable and forgettable that I didn’t want to waste anymore of my time. Like I said, had I not been a fantasy lover, I’m sure this would have been more appealing, alas I constantly read this type of story.

DID NOT FINISH: 74%

I thought the writing was solid and some of the characters were compelling, but I didn't care for the romance. I think this book would have been stronger with one POV. I really like Kestra, but Simon's POV was too bland. His insta love with her was unrealistic. I wish the book would have just explained that he was horny and attracted to her. They have so little chemistry and he supposedly hated her for years and fell in love with her in a day (huh?). I am interested to read some of Nielsen's other books because I do think her writing is good.

A little melodramatic at times and very heavy on the romance but still quite excellent and had some good twists and turns.
