the writing style is so bad, every page felt like a chore. i could not get into this at all. the writing is uninteresting, detached and unpleasant to read. it’s too bad because the concept has a lot of potential but the execution is just not it.

loved the meaning and message behind the book, but a bit too much to break down.

I hope I remember to read this book if and when I become a mother. It’s a stream of thought throughout the whole book. The incessant nagging of wanting more to a life filled with diapers and crying can become repetitive after a time. I sometimes had a hard time reaching for this book and continuing but once I would, I was enthralled by the main character nightbitch. This book is creative and gross. It’s rough and annoying (in a good way) you feel the narrators anger while reading & can clearly rationalize even the gruesome parts (might just be a me thing). This book was great! (Even coming from a cat lover)

I found out about the animal violence and I don't want to read that part.
