The main character’s anger really resonated for me which is why I think I liked the book so much. Didn’t love the violence against the cat but did love the elements of magical realism

The first half was fun and wild. The second half tried too hard to be intellectual imo so it lost me. Easy, mostly fun read. Definitely a book for moms.
