I absolutely devoured this book. This was the first book pick of a book club that I joined, and although I didn’t finish the book in time for me to join the meeting, I am so glad I had an opportunity to read this book.

A book about loss, about divorce, about change, and so much more. This book follows Yasmen and her ex-husband Josiah as they navigate their new lives after divorce and so much loss.

I love that this book looked at the healing that comes after traumatic life events, and how it reflects on anything can happen, and even the strongest relationships will crumble, but it does not mean it has to be over. This was a powerful book about healing and sacrifice. This book is emotional, and will probably make some people cry.

I will say I wanted a little more context with Josiah and his character development as he accepts therapy. As a character who is really against therapy I was quite surprised to see him cling onto it so quickly. I would have liked to see more of a resistance to it before acceptance.

Overall, absolutely love this book. The audiobook is also very well done and highly recommend It.
