This one was so much better than the first book! Having done the character introductions in the previous book, it meant this one could get straight into the storyline with only a handful of new characters introduced.

I really liked the mysteries in this one - though it does make me wonder how many secrets this family has and I now definitely need a family tree to keep track of everyone!

I loved how Sawyer, Campbell, Sadie Grace and Lily's friendship developed more in this book - they've got such a good dynamic.

Overall, great series!

I was hesitant to start bc I didn’t love the first one. This was significantly better. I think skipping the “get to know the characters” part of the book helped because the story jumped straight into action and was such a fun read. Loved all the secrets coming out and everything coming together for a heartwarming ending for Sawyer. I adore her found family with Campbell, Sadie Grace, and Lily, and I always am a fan of secret societies, so this really was a winner for me!!
