L.H. Cosway is a genius at writing emotionally packed books with characters you can’t help but want to be best friends with. Each time a new book is released frothier I get tingly with excitement knowing it’s going to be fun. This book is another great, fun, romantic, heartbreaking, hopeful tale. James and Michaela are fantastic, you’ll love them. It’s was so good I stayed up all night reading, sleep ? Ha ! No way I need to finish this book !

James is a star on a TV action show, featuring Parkour. He is sweet, kind a touch introverted and engaged to a bombshell. Michaela is his PA who is all heart and knows how to do her job. She has a crush on her boss, but respectfully keeps it to herself. She wants to be invisible to him and to be everything to him. Oh, talk about heartbreaking, the longing is so sweet. So when he needs help with a project for is fiancee she jumps in, anything to make his life happier. She is a selfless character taking many kicks in the gut for someone she cares about. He on the other hand has a hidden difficult situation, it’s a twist that is rarely written. As they grow closer the secrets and a couple total heartbreaking events are revealed and this reader broke out in tears for them both. Get the tissue boxes ready !

This would be such a great movie. Well, any of her books would but this one would be the romantic classic we all crave.

Really enjoyed this one. I’m a LH Cosway Fan have been since 2014. This book gave me all the feels. I felt for James and Michaela the way they both were treated. They were both had kinda and endearing personalities. You couldn’t help but love them, so to see them get treated so poorly by people who were supposed to love them was heartbreaking. I’m happy that they were able to find what they were missing out on in each other.

The author generously sent me an arc of the audiobook in exchange for my honest review.
L.H. Cosway is one of my favourite romance authors because her characters are always original and likeable, her plots are always well-paced, and never fall back on tired and frustrating tropes. I loved her Hearts series and was expecting a lot from Something in the Air, and I am happy to report that it did not disappoint.
James was so sweet, and Michaela was kind, level-headed, and reasonable. I often find myself frustrated with the immaturity and selfishness of the main characters in romance stories, particularly in new adult romance. James and Michaela's relationship seemed natural, and my one minor complaint is that
SpoilerMichaela's verbal abuse by her brother seemed a bit rushed. I would have liked to see more of her family relationships, though I appreciate how difficult that can be to do without interrupting the pacing of the romance plot.

In terms of the audiobook specifically, I really enjoyed the two narrators. Their voices were pleasant and added depth to the story. I really enjoyed the dual POV and find it works particularly well in audiobooks.
I am really looking forward to reading more in this series!

What can I say? Another solid read from L.H. Cosway.
Wonderful characters. The relationship developed slowly and believably. She's also one of my fave authors in terms of writing steamy scenes. It's full of sexual tension and it's so tastefully done.

Overall, it's just a feel-good romance between lovable characters. Recommended

It kills me to rate a Cosway book this low, but it was SO BORING! Gah. I normally really love her books but this one just didn't work for me.

I do want to read the other books in this series, no one book is the same! And as always, don't let my review sway you, read this book yourself and make up your own mind.
