A nurse to heal his heart is a cute contemporary medical novel following Rose who just recently moved in town as the new locum nurse and Joe. Joe is a Doctor at the clinic and their interactions are cute and steamy. I really liked the interaction between Rose and Kira, I thought it was very sweet, much like Rose's personality.

I liked the dynamics between the two and their chemistry was on point most of the time. I say most of the time as on two different occasions I found him downright creepy and pushy in a sexual manner. I liked his character a lot less than Rose's. He would often blow hot or cold towards her, he had been outright mean to her on a number of occasions when she did not deserve it (jerk!). I do not think he was quite deserving of her if I am being honest, on one occasion he makes a decision for her that would impact on her life and he is twisting the situation so much that Rose kinda forgets her argument.

Overall, I have really enjoyed it. 3.5 stars

A book that blended together the whimsical with some heavier moments, A Nurse to Heal His Heart was a Harlequin Medical romance that charmed me with its honesty and lovely characters.

Louisa George created an absolutely wonderful little village as the setting for this book. Everything about Oakdale appealed to me, from the beautifully described scenery to the lively people we met. It was a great backdrop for a romance to begin and for two people to finish healing their hearts after tough experiences in their recent past. Read More
