This one blew me out of the fucking water, dude. From the first page and Marcella’s death to the very end! I fell in love with Victor, which I didn’t like him before. I felt sorry for Eli which I honestly didn’t expect to. I enjoyed June A LOT but I feel her character didn’t have enough background! I need more. I need more. I need more. I love Sydney and Mitch. I love that Sydney and Victor have a specific special relationship. This book really brought the thunder. I was hoping the whole time for an enemies to lovers thing with Victor and Eli but of course, no. They were so in love with each other and they just had bitter ex energy the whole time. I love the way they thought about each other, even if it was in a very fucked up way.

Eagerly waiting for the next book.

4.5 rounded up! I'm so glad that Victorious is coming, that ending sure is a hanger.

I didn’t know what the follow-up would be from the past book, but it didn’t disappoint.

Schwab did a good job of giving even more depth to Eli and Victor and I really liked the introduction to the other EOs - June, Marcella, Jonathan.

I liked seeing Sydney develop her power but also just growing up and seeing her relationship with Victor and Mitch. I’m glad we got some sort of resolution with Serena, or Mitch killing Serena at least.

The ending was satisfying in many ways while also leaving room if there was going to be a third book. It’s an interesting way to leave the book because I wasn’t unsatisfied but it also wasn’t a happily ever after where things were tied up neatly.

I really enjoyed Vicious so I was excited to start the sequel, but I struggled with the physical book so I picked up the audio. It started out fine but felt completely different from Vicious. I felt like it was dragging and the whole segment with Eli's backstory could've been done in the first book without problem. I wasn't fond of the new characters and it felt just... less.

I really liked this book. It was a great continuation of vicious and added a lot more interesting aspects.

The story was beautifully crafted. It created lot’s of loose threads, sending you into different times and to different characters. Slowly the story comes together. It should be complicated. It should have confused me. But somehow the complexities of the story were threaded together so elegantly, it barely was any effort.
I like how at first you don’t even know what the plot of the book will be and it’s just about creating the story for these characters.

Loved June as an addition to the story. However, I wasn’t a fan of Marcella. I didn’t like reading from her perspective and had to drag myself through those bits. She just falls flat in contrast to the other amazing characters.

I wished for more Eli and Victor together. I know logically, that would’ve been really difficult to do. But those two together are so much fun to read.

Overall a really great book. Beautifully written, wonderful characters and interesting story.

Incredible.
Once again Schwab doesn't disappoint.
I love the set up of starting from an unknown point and only giving the reader snippets from '3 weeks ago' to 'yesterday afternoon'. I loved putting the pieces together of what the separate characters were doing and seeing it all come together. The anticipation as the time got shorter leading to the climax was really fun to watch unravel.
The ending was satisfying yet not at all. I like how open-ended Shwab left it. We sympathise with Victor already so we are relieved when he 'wins' (if you can call it that), and yet there isn't really a happy-family happy ending as we were led to hope for.
This is the kind of thing I love. I wish Sydney and Mitch and even June all the best until I meet them again.

This story is so brutal but so genius at the same time. It kept me reading just because I wanted to know who was in the right and who would cooperate or not. I think Vengeful was even better than Vicious. The characters became much more three-dimentional which I liked a lot. And the ending was just something else. Just read it.
10/10 would recommend.
