Finally a story that does not play into the absurd stupidity of managing a grand scale universe like marvel comics and fits into it nearly perfectly without making you feel like an idiot for following story lines that go nowhere.

There was one panel that killed the pace near the end for me but that aside, takes a concept done 10000 times before such as the end of times and make it something more than "Everyone dies lol".

If you like a good steak at medium rare and taste it carefully this is your comic

Thor teams up with Galactus to stop the apocalypse, it’s pretty great but a little short.

Donny Cates just loves Metal. That’s what he’s going for here. But I don’t know if he achieves it. The art is beautiful, but the story lifeless. Worse, it’s slow as heck. Give me an issue where more than one thing happens, instead of churning pages of Thor fighting abstract forces. Thor is low fantasy. He isn’t Metal.
