Nossa, esse foi o pior da série. Esse foi tão curto, mas tão curto, que primeiro que nem deu tempo de se envolver com a narrativa, e quando viu acabou.

I loved the grovel!!!! And I loved how we got to see more from Savannah. She was an interesting character from the start and I couldn't wait to read more about her. I loved to see her interactions with Gideon and their jokes. We got to see the turmoil and betrayal she felt and endured whilst being with Gideon and I loved seeing them try to rekindle. Gideon did a helluva lot of groveling and I loved every bit of it. Gideon is a huge romantic and he could be cheesy at times but he is also hilarious. Honestly, Sav and Gid are so cute and I love them together.
The newspaper letter 🥰
Also his confession after their little vandalism was everything.

Ella cameo!!!! I love how Sav said that she admired her personality and confidence and that was why she envied her. I hope we see more of their friendship growth!! Also Gideon needs to be more nice towards Ella, and after the phone call scene I loved the Royals and their growing family.

Steve erked the shit out of me. But they left that subplot opened. Hopefully there is more resolved in the last books.

Could have been better so I understand why it is 3.5 instead of 4- but I would recommend giving it a read. It is a classic Elle K.

Unfortunately, this book just wasn’t as good as the first three books in the series! It wasn’t bad but it just wasn’t as interesting and entertaining as the other ones. I liked reading more about Gideon and Savannah’s relationship but at the same time I also felt like I just once again got to hear everything that we’d already learned about them in the other books plus a few more details and how they’re doing today.

So I was just expecting a lot more from this but it was still a decent book which is why I’m giving it three out of five stars.

Gideon was never my favourite but seeing as he was portrayed as the more calm and "mature" brother - seeing as he's the eldest - I expected more but he just felt like a carbon copy of his childish younger brothers. Just less... explosive? Also Savannah could not be more one dimensional.

Not sure what we're meant to take from this novella but it did nothing for me. At least I breezed through it and now done with the series officially.

hopeful relaxing fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
