I don't think you have to be a Tweedy/Wilco fan to enjoy this book, you just have to be a lover of music.  "Berets make you look like a pretentious acorn."

For me there is nothing that feels more tender or more intimate than when an intelligent, earnest person writes about their experiences with the art that matters to them. This is a beautiful, joyous book.

Found it a bit hard to relate to, as I’m not the world’s largest music connoisseur, nor a 50 year old man obsessed with rock music from his youth. Yet it was still an enjoyable read, and finished it in one session.

If you’ve read his other books, you’ll know what to expect. I’d say it’s my least favorite of the 3 but still very enjoyable. Goes down quick ‘n’ easy.
