This was a really good audiobook.
But to me some of the narration in parts between 2 separate characters felt like it was the same person.
Other than that I loved this book and the narrators. Each one gave the characters they were voicing personality.

My goodness what a book
Iโd read reviews about this being an emotional read. One that would definitely have your heart cracking.
I just didnโt think it was gonna happen with the chapter before the Epilogue. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

Ohh those men๐๐๐๐
Each one grieving loss of someone important in their lives while also trying to live.
There relationship and the build up to it was wonderfully done. Neither fully wanted to give in to what they were feeling but ๐คฃ like everything they alway win in the end.
I loved both of them. Deacon, god his mother ๐๐๐ I disliked her from the first chapter and what she did in Chapter 25. ๐ก๐ก๐ก Ohhhh now that was seriously uncalled for.
He is one of the nicest, kindest, selfless characters in that book. Always worrying about others instead of himself. What she did hurt him in more ways than one. ๐๐๐
His relationship with Julian not only brightened him up but also allowed him to truly be himself.
Their love for each other proved that even when they werenโt together. The pull was always there.

I love a love story but the existing relationship ship between these two at the beginning sets up a weird dynamic? Dead brotherโs former lover/dead former loverโs brother is certainly a twist on brothers best friend I guess. I didnโt hate the story. I really rooted for them the whole way through.
