Really enjoyed this memoir… and the trip thru the 80s was icing on the cake.

A beautiful and painful memoir about resilience and complex relationships with family and with herself. I didn't expect to relate so much to Danielle's story but at several points it really took me by surprise.

I listened to the audiobook format of this and Danielle was also a lovely narrator.
