Not sure how I feel… Somehow both empowering women yet every other female in the book is evil? Love/hate relationship with how certain characters are portrayed.

It was, and i don’t know if i’ll ever say this about a book again, perhaps a little too long.

Though I really enjoyed the story, I didn’t love it like I thought I would. That being said, I think this will be something I think about a lot and potentially even reread. I related a lot to the main character where she can feel very confident in many parts of her working life but move into the personal and social and things get fuzzy and confusing. I loved a lot of the self reflection that happened and all of Finn’s positive reenforcement and affirmations. The role of the fish tank was hilarious and tied things up into a nice bow.

Went back and changed my rating bc the longer I thought about it, the less I liked it. I don't know how to really explain it, but there were some aspects that were just off putting. Despite that, I did still enjoy it.
