Avery repping the curvy bad ass girlie and the struggles that come with it. 👏

I really wanted to like this book but you can tell the author has never been plus size and is not from California. While it's possible to write from these perspectives without living them this book does not do it well. There is so much negative self-talk in this book I started to hate myself because I am much bigger than the girl in the story, especially since half way through I think the author forgot she's supposed to be writing about a plus size girl. I think if the author changed the girl from "plus-size" to just "curvy" it would work so much better!

Steamy romance that gives you a women who has no idea how to be treated well by romantic partners and a man that is more than ready to take on that mantle. Avery & Finn are both great at their jobs but when it comes to relationships they tend to give more than they get in return. Loved seeing the way Avery & Finn slowly come around to the idea that they are perfect for one another, while dealing with personal issues as well.
