Needs re-reading, and re-reading, and re-reading, and forevermore.

I will come back to this another time, I think I just want to read something a little lighter right now

The three moods of the Divine Comedy follow its three settings. Hell is filled with despair, Purgatory with hope, and Heaven with Joy. Dante’s character growth takes him through each mood. Like many people on earth, he starts scared and alone, but over time, with the help of his guides, he gradually becomes more confident and sure, until he himself becomes the reader’s guide. One of the best literary works of all time.

Actually reading Ciardi's Inferno which is maddeningly absent from the Goodreads shelves.
