Fast and furious. Reacher is still Reacher. I wish he would change his underwear more often.

My doctor told me my testosterone was low. He offered me a series of shots, but I raised my hand and grinned: "No, thanks. I'll just read a Reacher novel."

Oh Lee Child...these books have some nice plot twists and some enjoyable characters. But none of that matters. What matters is Reacher shows up and kicks ass. And in doing so, he gives me a shot of testosterone.

Coming after the last boring book, i was SO ready for a good one. But instead i got this one, which was soo dry and boring i couldnt get into it at all. so i gave up. i didnt finish, and i'm hoping to break the bad book streak soon.

I really enjoy Lee Child’s writing. (Anxiously waiting for season 2 of Reacher!) This one had great twists and turns… I never knew what was going to happen next.

After reading the first Reacher novel by Lee Child I wasn't sure I wanted to give another one a chance. I just didn't like the writing style in the first book. Granted, it may have been because I actually listened to it as an audiobook and perhaps the narrator just wasn't very good. I decided to give Reacher another chance and I'm glad I did. This book was intense and suspenseful. Chapters ended with me wanting to not stop. There were however a few predictable moments in the book but even though they were predictable they were interesting twists.

I think this was my first Jack Reacher novel. Wow - did it make an impression. Great action sequences and good paced dialogue. Reacher is revealed in all his unabridged glory for the reader. I liked the pace of the novel, it kept me interested throughout. I like the fact that you don't need to start with the first book of the Reacher series. Child explains things just enough for you to get a good idea of the kind of person Reacher is and you have all the information you need to follow the story nicely.
I now keenly await everything that Lee Child puts out and have had some great reading experiences as a result. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is interested in crime/action thrillers.
