T.L. Swan il say it again just knows what shes doing when it comes to romance and this was a great start to a new series.
after meeting at an event Henley and Juliet instantly hit it off and they end up going on an amazing first date where they end up spending the night together and making plans to see each other the following weekend.
When Juliet gets stood up by Henley with no word of a reason why and her best friend spots him at a club and around women, she decides to never speak to him again and even when she bumps into him a little time later, she introduces her brother as her fiancé to try and save face.
3 years later Juliet buys her dream home on her dream street only to find Henley is her Neighbour and he is still just as gorgeous as she remembers as well as being an absolute a**hole.
I loved watching these 2 navigate their feelings and the way we get full character details esp. with Henley was really great including understanding his reasons for why he is the way he is about relationships and love.
Juliet was really likeable, and the spice was on point as we expect from T.L. Swan. I can't wait to read the other characters stories.

This was such a fun and addictive read!
I loved Juliet and Henley’s banter so much! They had such great chemistry and the steam was steaming!
Henley was infuriating and wonderful haha he has issues and that made things hard for him, but Juliet has the patience of a saint. I loved how she stood her ground when she needed to though.
I enjoyed this one a lot, I love how the story flowed and the set up for the next book! I’m very excited to read it! The narrators were excellent!

Entering T.L. Swan's Kingston Lane series, I immersed myself in a world of luxury, desire, and romance. Juliet Drinkwater's first encounter with Henley James is mesmerizing, with undeniable chemistry. While Juliet's inner thoughts had me laughing, the repetitive nature of their exchanges became a bit tiresome for my liking. It's a quick and engaging read with scorching chemistry, and I was left wanting more and felt the ending was a bit rushed. Nonetheless, I eagerly await the next book in the series.

Good start, draggy middle, slow and gentle end. Includes funny nosey neighbors, dad with dementia, idiots in love, and cute but chaotic dog. Promising start to a series.

Like most of Swan’s books a rich man who can’t commit, finds his one true love but is too damaged to recognize it. She however immediately knows that he is the one and agrees to friends with benefits until he comes to his senses. This isn’t going to win awards, but will get you through an empty Libby shelf.
