It's nice to return to the world of [b:Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda|33535964|Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda (Creekwood, #1)|Becky Albertalli|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1482294390l/33535964._SX50_.jpg|27679579] and to see our favorite characters from the first book again. I would love to see a book that focuses on Abby, since she is a major player in both books. Leah is very much a stubborn teenage girl, which makes for some frustrating moments, but it's nice to see her grow out of her cynicism over the course of the book.

The book is a quick read, very modern, and quite humorous. The dinner reservation scene for the prom is my favorite scene in the whole book.

I had to reread Simon before reading this book because I really didn't remember Leah at all (it has been a couple of years). I expected after reading the first book to like Leah more than I did. The book was a fun enough read but Leah was annoying and I didn't get her appeal to Garrett or Abby. The best part of this book for me was how often my Alma Mater Haverford was featured! That was seriously cool!

I love this book so much. Leah is like the best main character ever. I feel really happy, I just want to dance around my room but I can’t because it is the middle of the night and my parents are sleeping. The amount of fandoms related things in this book is awesome. Like I identify so much with Leah it’s almost scary. I love Abby too and freaking adored Nora and Cal, SHIPPED. Garret was also really funny. It was also really interesting to see Simon as a side character instead of the MC, he was really funny still. That was it, this review is a mess but I don’t care.

This was really great! I read it in one sitting and enjoyed having a pessimistic totally annoyed and sarcastic narrator. Did I like this better than Simon V Homo Sapiens Agenda? Nope. But I liked how it existed in the same world and we still got to see part of Simon’s story. Anyway. It’s adorable and if you like sassy girls who don’t have their shit together, this book is for you.
