Loved some of her sentiments like “stop apologizing and say thank you for being patient with me” but could do without all the religious aspects.

This fell somewhere in between a 3 and 4 star book.

Totally recommend listening to this one on audio. It's narrated by Kristen Chenoweth and of course, she had some singing & lyrical dictation that enhanced the entire experience.

4 Stars for Kristin's deeper "Thoughts" that were brought out in an essay format. They were thought-provoking, tear-jerking, and funny.

3 Stars for the fluffy lists and random quotes peppered within. While they sometimes made me smile when reading, they didn't add value to the book as a whole. She had such a lovely writing style that I wish she would have continued those thoughts more.

I loved that the walls came down and Kristin came out to share some light on these little thoughts that connect big feels.

It’s a short read. I enjoyed it. Some of the moments of meditation and bits of faith were what I needed to hear. As someone not in faith and dealing with my own skeletons it’s nice to see someone that’s in the spotlight be real even if just for a second. Gives me a little hope.

In short:
Did I like it? Yeah
Would I recommend it? Yea if the right reader comes along.
Would I read more by this author? Maybe.

I snagged this because I love Kristin Chenoweth and based on the title I thought this might be a fun read. Other than that I had no expectations! I didn’t realize she already has written another book. I didn’t expect so many references to scripture but it didn’t impact my feelings about the book. This one was filled with anecdotes and bits of wisdom that I thoroughly enjoyed I really would like to read a physical copy, because the eGalley seemed to have messed with the formatting making it hard to follow at times.
I also would like to take notes in the margins of this one. I found myself nodding and hi lighting so many thoughts she shares. It was a good and quick read, and I will likely purchase the physical copy.

I liked hearing Kristin's voice in the audiobook and enjoyed the few moments when she sang a couple of lines. Overall, the content was a bit disjointed.

Since I’m not a fan of Kristen, I had low expectations for this book but I honestly truly enjoyed it. It was a super quick read I highly would recommend listening to audio version since she narrates it.
