I can’t believe it’s over. These Brutal Boys took me out of my reality for some much needed escapism and I’ll always remember this series.
It’s been a while since I’ve been pulled into a series like this—I enjoy the books I’m reading, but I don’t feel connected or as into it as I did with this story. I was able to feel the characters’ emotions, feel like I was there with them, and see the world around me as I stopped reading and began living in this world. I legit didn’t even know I was reading at some points, so sucked in that I was just watching the characters talk to each other and watching as they made justice theirs. I’ll never forget the joy, fear, pain, love and want that this series instilled in me, and I don’t want to either. Thank you for writing such an amazing series for me to get lost in and I can’t wait to delve deep into the other worlds you’ve created.

My favorite of the series besides the first book. The ending made it even better
This series is one of my faves that I've read in a while! I absolutely love it and the ending was perfection. This is a long book, but I didn't feel that it was "too long" like I have with some of the ZA books. I really think there's something to be said for a "shorter" series like this.

But like the seasons, winter always turned to spring and spring to summer. It was inevitable. Even if it didn’t seem that way at the time. The flowers would bloom, the leaves would grow green and lush and life would continue, even if a few scars of winters past remained.
What an ending! Oh my god. I just have to take a minute and sit here with all of my feelings! Hot damn do Caroline and Susanne know how to write a good story.
This book has everything you want in the final book in a series. They wrap up all of the plot points and open stories and then because they love us, give everyone an extended epilogue to show us that it’s truly a HEA.
It’s a monster of a book that has you on the edge of your seat the entire time. There are some highs and some lows, but overall you cannot stop reading until you turn that final page. Plus it’s so funny – I caught myself laughing quite a few times despite the tense drama and situations that are in the book.
I’m so sad to go away from this series and world, but the girls did tease us that there’s potential cross over with Sinners Playground in the future. I shall just have to hold out hope for more of the Night Keepers. Plus we have Niall coming up too, so I’m sure we’ll see more of our faves! Read this series you won’t regret it!

On a personal note, I find it quite odd/funny/ironic that in the middle of reading the last book in this series I am now stuck home in quarantine because I have the dreaded virus. (Not the Hades one; but I mean it’s still bad-freaking bats.)
