This somewhat cheesy story ended up pulling together and ending well.
If you've read my reviews for the first 3 books of this series, you'll know that this was, by far, my least favorite series of Peckham and Valenti's work.
But I didn't once consider not finishing them, so I must have liked it just enough to keep going.
And I can say that the relationships Tatum develops with the 4 guys individually did end up feeling genuine, which is saying something since they aren't guys that would be easy to fall for.
PLUS, the bedroom scenes (or bathroom, or up against a wall, or on top of a coffin, lol) were pretty great! =)

I absolutely loved this one! This is the fourth book in the series and I highly recommend reading the previous ones as they are too interconnected with a lot of information in them that flows right into this book. This one picks up where the last one left off and it starts with a bang (as that's how the last one ended). I adored getting to dive right back into this world and watch our group get even closer together and taking down the people that needed to be taken down. I loved that this book was long as it really gave time for character development and growth as well as the growth of the relationships between our five characters. The boys might have started out as Tatum's bullies but throughout the series we have gotten to see Tatum survive that, stand up to them, and watch the change in the relationships that she has with all of the boys/men. It doesn't just happen overnight and that really made immersing myself in the story easy. I loved all the time I got to spend with these characters and that we got such a good epilogue (though I would have been happy with more) as I wasn't ready to be done with them. There are twists and turns in this story and things that keep you guessing on what is going to happen next and how things will end up playing out. I loved the strength of the characters and how they all work together to form one heck of a strong unit. I just adored this series and will absolutely be looking for more by these authors.
The narrators really did a phenomenal job with this book and this series. They made the characters stand out and did a fantastic job with the emotions and making them come to life. It really made it easy to immerse myself in the story. I will definitely be checking out more books narrated by them as well. What a great combo!
