Very cute. Very well written. Very good characters. It really deserves 4 1/2 stars, but alas, goodreads doesn’t let you do that. This is a fun Christmas story about a plus size porn star & her boy band crush turned actor. He’s her favorite singer and she’s his favorite onlyfans-like star. The movie is being produced by Teddy, the owner of the studio that makes Bianca’s movies. Due to several unforeseen circumstances, Teddy has to use his crew to make the movie for the Hope channel. This novel is what happens when the world of porn ends up making a Hallmark-like movie.

ETA: If you’re confused by the synopsis, just know that this is not your typical romcom. The humor is in the raunchiness. If that turns you off, then this isn’t for you. These two do not have a typical boy meets girl relationship. This is a Sierra Simone book so it has the sauciness of an adult novel, but the other author comes from YA/new adult, so there’s that point of view as well.

... not at all what I expected. Very graphic, steamy (but not my kind of steamy) sex scenes. Doesn't feel like a Christmas book. They just happen to be filming one.

⭐3.5 rounded up to 4/5 stars⭐

the best part about this book was picturing harry styles and other members of one direction. what a cute lil romcom with great representation throughout. we have a plus-sized MC who works in the p0rn industry, a bisexual, ex-boyband member who has a mother with bipolar disorder, many lgbtq+ side characters. it was a jumble of good vibes throughout!

to be honest though, I can't imagine this scenario happening to me not in a dream world. being a stan of a famous boyband and then your favorite member from it years later falls in love with you?? yeahhhhh no way. the ending scene when Nolan was in her childhood bedroom and saw photos of him in the band above her bed. like.. i would cease to exist. i would be dead on the floor, catch me not living fr. then when he sings to her?? yeah no write my headstone now

as a former and current boyband fanatic, I can safely say Bee did not survive this moment and when she asks him on their ice skating date if any of the boys ever hooked up. that knowledge would send me into a coma. all of the tea and drama, from the source, would be actually insane to learn so I can't imagine how she was feeling after this. i would be assuredly deceased.

one thing I didn't necessarily love was how they both, but Bee specifically when she got bucked off the horse, expected him to be waiting in the hospital for her to wake up from recovery. she was like, "we've slept together twice, known each other for a week, and only have a week left before we part ways but why isn't he acting like he loves me and he's my boyfriend??" like giiiirrrrrrll bffr they aren't together and despite how passionate their sex is like why are you expecting him to be this knight and shining armor? wake up and smell the dating apps babe guys aren't gentlemen anymore. it also just felt incredibly insta love in a way that annoyed me bc sometimes, a lot of times, i don't mind the insta love but i did this time. ALSO how in the earthly fuck did they think that no one would recognize her because the same people who watch p0rn don't watch hallmark movies? LIKE?? of course they do, why wouldn't they?? if anything maybe moreso, espcially women! so that was an idiotic plan to begin with.

I liked the ending and the snippet POV from teddy. I hope it leads into a next book because I think I'd like one of the other characters stories more like teddy and steph or angel and luca! it would be strange if they didn't do a second since they lined it up so perfectly for a next book. overall, I enjoyed this but I wish it had been a bit more realistic, even for a romcom this felt a bit too far-fetched.
spice: 3.5/5 (ms simone does know how to write some spice let me tell you and when he goes down on her in front of his posters of him in her childhood bedroom?????????? I was a puddle A PUDDLE)

Very cute contemporary romance, albeit predictable. The smut was pretty good, too.

Love love love love. I’ll probably rewrite this review when it’s not 4am but Bee and Nolan are a power couple and the whole cheeky cute chemistry in this book was amazing. I didn’t expect the whole boyband fangirl X pornstar fanboy to work so well but it had me actually giggling

I like more romance and character building and less insta-lust/love. Too sexy for me.

I found the pornstar side of the book so forced and pushed through every sentence of this book. I enjoyed Bees narrative chapters but found Nolan’s character very cringy and cheesy. Not quite the Christmassy novel I expected
