This was a cute read. Lots of feminism and representation which was so nice to see. There were some times where I felt like Bee and Nolan didn’t have a lot of chemistry
and it felt like they were fangirling each other the whole time. Also it seemed a little silly they thought no one would figure out who she or Teddy was when she’s so public in the adult film industry. I also feel like Nolan and Bee needed more time to fall in love with each other. They were fantasizing about marriage by the end of the two weeks lol
alas I was here for the vibes. The Christmas themed strip club was cute and there were definitely some cute and funny moments throughout the book. Not my fave but not bad.

This was cute, but it was waaay too long and felt a bit lacking in emotional connection for me. It was hard for me to suspend disbelief that anyone in this book actually thought the lead actress and producer being in the porn business would never get out. It also wasn’t as hot as I expected it to be given the premise. So many references to kinks and toys and lube but barely any of it used on page!

It was quite enjoyable though and I did love the sex (and sex work) positivity, body positivity, and how virtually everyone was queer, including the two leads.

A light festive fun read. Though it was light on the festivity!

A sex worker (Bee) gets cast into a hallmark-esque movie after an injury with the lead. She has a huge crush on the male lead (Nolan) who is an child star - boy band. Nolan is an avid watcher of Bee/Bianca’s Only Fans (or whatever this book names it).

It’s a nice FWB to lovers trope with the added drama of trying to keep their relationship and backgrounds hidden. There are a lot of real life issues mentioned between fatphobia, sex work, mental health and sexuality - possibly a few too many to fit into this kind of book though which is why it’s lost a few stars from me. I’d have preferred it to stick to the fatphobia and sex work which were main themes.

That being said - it was nice to have sexuality mentioned and just be a part of the characters lives without it being a main focus, and to accept that just because bi characters are in heterosexual relationships it doesn’t make them any less bi which a lot of books seem to miss.

I enjoyed the steam in this book too! I’ve read a few reviews of surprise about the amount of steam - but I don’t understand why people are surprise that there’s a lotta steam in a book centred around sex workers!!

All in all, a nice read, but don’t expect something you can’t put down or a literary great!

Not gonna lie… added this book to my tbr bc it sounded like a cute holiday romance but the first few pages you very quickly realise the title and cover are very deceiving. It was very fun but also a sign I should actually start reading blurbs

A very sweet and spicy holiday romance. This book is self aware which is to its benefit! It easily and skillfully plays on tropes from holiday films, and the fact that our MCs are former boy and members and a sex worker.

I was not sure how they were going to pull off a HEA, but I think they managed to do it in a sugarcoated but realistic way.
