Creo que fue malo tener las expectativas tan altísimas en cuanto al terror de Mariana Enríquez, creí que sería un tipo de miedo que incluso no me dejaría dormir, aunque sí logró perturbarme. Personalmente no soy fan de la literatura de terror, además de que la mayoría de las historias me dejaban con muchas incógnitas y me gusta cuando me dan todos los detalles. Aún así es un buen libro y la mayoría de las historias lograron captar mucho mi atención.

i am gonna be devils advocate really quick and say that even a bad translation doesn’t account for the flat characters and lack of development on a lot of these stories. I also am admittedly not someone who pays much attention to of a story is written, so i don’t really think the translations would’ve changed my viewpoint and opinion which is that this author should focus on longer stories rather than anthologies. Also! Every story that had something gross but obviously was saying or doing something with it was MILES better than the ones being gross to be gross. booooo shock value racism, poop, and blood (etc etc) give me something that MEANS something or has actual consequences!!! horror in real life scenarios can be meaningful to a story or message but they felt gratuitous and icky in a way that made me side eye the author!! 2 stars i really liked meat
