Still not a fan of the FMC (is she ever going to grow up and stop lashing out at people??) but the story has progressed well and there are some of the MMC's POV appearing which I like! Hoping the next in the series will have a bit more spice though, as there hasn't been much in this one.
The author is good with keeping the consistency and remembering small details across the series which is always a positive, and helps with the world building too. It is very easy to imagine all that the author is writing, and I do find myself still thinking about the plot and characters when I am not reading.

these are terrible but i’m oddly entranced. it’s like a car wreck, i just can’t turn away… addictive as hell.
Love this series. I'm glad we jumped ahead to April so lexie has had some time to heal. This book answered some questions we've had and brought some feelings out too. I've never liked Tara and after this book I can't wait until she's out the house. The only thing I didn't like was that this was a half book and was so short. Need book 5.

Wow
This installment of did not disappoint! B.L. wrote another amazing book that I couldn't put doen. Lexi and crew are great characters and I love how real they are. There are no fake to good to be true qualities here.

3 1/2 ⭐️
I really like that she writes PTSD in a relatable way. The minimization and telling yourself to just get over it, while obviously not helpful, is one of the biggest problems I have with mine personally. I appreciate this book a lot more now (after rereading after 2 years of therapy lol) and think the perspective is actually pretty realistic on flashbacks and triggers. The majority of this book is about Lexi dealing with her issues while trying to trust herself and others around her again, so I get why some people feel like both happened, but I personally really like this one. You get everyone’s perspectives, including Rory, and you also have individual stories with each character. I also get to visualize Miles in a Speedo, so you know I’m in

The best yet
I cried, I cried. This is well written, few mistakes and typos for the grammar nazis out there and the story is rich and grabs you with everything you’ve got.
