This book was an absolute delight. The plot kept me entertained from the beginning to the end. I loved the character development between the two main characters and the 2 side characters that gave support to them. The tension and spice was absolutely fantastic.

1. I read entirely too many books revolving around male/male presenting killers for how much I liked this book.
2. Women just do it better.
If you love a strong, smart, lethal FMC, then this book may be for you.
Bria lives and breathes with the sole purpose of taking down organizations like the one she grew up in. She is calculated, meticulous and ruthless; all thanks to the thorough training from her Uncle Samuel.
Dr. Elijah Kaplan is a college professor using his lengthy psychology education to aid the FBI in taking down a widely known cult. While reviewing his work at a campus coffee shop he is enamored by a women that walks in. Unable to focus on his work due to the beautiful woman sitting across the coffee shop from him, he heads to his upcoming appointment. Unknown to him, his next appointment is with a certain beauty he can’t take his mind off of.
This books has lots of action, delicious smut and a story of unconditional love between our MC’s.

I think it had too much smut for me? But overall it was FINE just felt super rushed in the end. The revenge plot was just kinda thrown out for half of it but came back at the last second and didn’t have much of an impact. I was looking for a book similar to the mindfuck series but it didn’t come close
