Much more cohesive story than the last arc, but the art quality was inconsistent.

Kind of a bland entry in what had been growing into a decent Star Wars series. For me, this volume has too much Black Squadron pilots soap opera. It's nice to learn a little bit more about Lor San Tekka (though that would have been great to learn in the movie where he first appears, not three years later in a graphic novel . . . ), but what happens once the Resistance finds him is anticlimactic.

The big question is: What's the deal with Leia's dress?? :(

I continue to be impressed with this book. This was one of the better volumes, with a fun undercover mission and a few good villains. This closes out the books pre-TFA stories.

I really liked this. I love poe and having comics to read about him makes the character ever more likeable. Also leia being awesome.

Still enjoying the series. Poe and Leia team together to rescue Lor San Tekka. But it's not as easy as it sounds. Happy that Terex is back and on his own. For the majority of this volume, the graphics are good. The graphics in the Annual are just horrible and super cartoony and I'm just going to forget that even exists.

Argh. Soule's story telling is fine, the art is just a major obstacle for me.

There is some thing about the combination of Unzueta's pencils and Prianto's colours that is just really jarring. It's an uncanny valley effect of reproducing the likenesses of on-screen characters on the page. I'm not saying the art is poor. Far from it. In fact, it might be that the two artists do such a good job at the photo-realistic portrayals of characters like Poe and Leia that I'm stuck on the art rather than experiencing it with Soule's writing.
