Strangers on a Train is unusual as the film adaptation is actually much, much better than the source material.
3/5; was very good up until the last third where it lost footing and never gained it back.

Some great ideas and all but not for me. It was too much internal. Too long. And kind of dull.

I don't read too many murder mysteries these days (too many other books on my to-read list), but this is such a classic that I finally picked it up . . . and couldn't put it down. One of those stories that has you catching your breath as it unfolds, and holds you in suspense to the very end. Might have to find another great mystery to read . . .
