The last of the Wallflowers is still searching for a husband, Daisy. Her father is threatening to wed her to his employee, Mr. Swift. She has always thought Mr. Swift dull, unattractive and a butt kisser to her father. She has just a short time to find somebody from England before her choice is made for her.
One day a man arrives at the estate and walks towards her, he's tall, handsome and their is something that draws her attention to him. This man will upend her views and change her path forever.
This last tale of the Wallflowers is a wonderful end to the unwed ladies. This was a tough match, but so worth the effort. Now to see how they are all carrying on- Christmas with The Wallflowers. : )

This was such a fun and sweet end to one of my favorite series!! This was a surprisingly low angst and wholesome installment. This story follows Daisy, the final wallflower, and Matthew, a self-made man working for Daisy’s father. Matthew was the ultimate pining hero (and quite possibly a new edition to my top 5 favorite Kleypas heroes). Matthew had been smitten with Daisy for years but never felt like she could ever be his. I couldn’t handle the scene when Daisy discovered Matthew had been holding onto one of her buttons as a keepsake. MY HEART!! Matthew would talk Daisy up to potential suitors to make sure they understood just how important and special she is. Daisy was such a solid heroine, I loved how she was never afraid to be herself and to go after what she wanted (especially when that something was Matthew!). As always, it was nice getting see the previous couples and how their families and relationships have flourished. I just love this series with my whole heart, and am already thinking about when I’m going to do a re-read.

trying to not let that shitty ending hinder my enjoyment of the book. but it was just so unnecessary. im just going to try to pretend it didnt happen. because this book was definitely one of my favorite in the series. one other thing that annoyed me (and this happened a lot in the third book too) was that it often focused on the previous couples. like i dont mind when it happends a little, and i want the other wallflowers to appear, but i dont want them to have their one pov. it sound like im just shitting on the book, bur i really did like it:)
