I have to start by saying that this is the first book I've read in this series. I have no back ground knowledge of these characters.
I had serious issues with Ham. He was too bossy, controlling, possessive, "Ugg me Man you woman", for me. I just cringed every time he was thrilled by her passive, easy personality. He doesn't get it but it really rubbed me wrong the whole concept.
Zara, She was the doormat for this guy to wipe his shoes on and come and go as he pleased. She was not important enough to herself to change this. I know, she was a victim of abuse and had serious issues. I don't like to read about people who are down and accept it, even for a while. She does get up and stand but it was too late for my comfort as a reader.
I love this author's Rock Chick series and I do love her writing. This book's characters and story just did not work for me in anyway. I will continue to follow her work but not this series.

I really didn’t like this one. I felt as though there wasn’t enough chemistry built up between the two main characters. It also seemed like a very toxic relationship.
The storyline was a bit to fantastical and forced (which is saying something since the previous books have some wild stuff happen ahaha).
Bit of a flop when compared to the others! Hopefully the next in the series is better.

Though Jagged is not my favorite of the many KA books, it's a good one. Ham has had his fair share of sorry women, so he decides to never get too close, or stay around too long. Zara has had more than a lifetimes worth of heartache, and things only seem to get worse. When Ham finds out his ex is having a rough time, he shows up after three years to help her get back on her feet. Zara has yet to get over Ham, and though she needs the help she knows that it can't be good for her heart.

great addition to the series. Reese had me drooling all day long. So happy to see that Zara's dad got what he deserved and she found a happyily ever after.

Eh....

On another note, I can’t help but be seriously annoyed by Nina. She lived in America all her life until, as a YOUNG ADULT, she moved to England for ONLY A FEW YEARS to be near her paraplegic brother. A FEW YEARS, after which she moved back to America with an ENGLISH ACCENT, and after several years STILL RETAINS THAT ACCENT. How pretentious can she be?

Loved Ham and Zara! Didn't know much about them before starting their story as they are minor in this series, but I honestly loved them! My heart broke for them both at times and I just kept going knowing that they belonged together and deserved their HEA. They definitely had to work for it, but it was great in the end. It was sweet and sexy, heartfelt and emotional. A must read!

This was pretty good. I liked the alpha-male style grovel that Ham gave. However, I hate the name Ham and the nickname cookie wasn't great either. And the whole Zara thinking she was second best for most of the book was definitely off-putting. I mean, I get his backstory and all but it was tough watching Zara go through that with her backstory.

But I do love the way Kristen Ashley writes kids and Zander was no different.

I also loved the Epilogue, the last two bits were perfect.

I hadn't read about either Zara or Ham before so it was a little like a stand alone for me. I loved this book. I really liked that the guy had the emotional scars and commitment issue for good reasons. Some people struggle with his nickname Ham but I did seem to notice it which I thought I would. Zara has had a lot of hard knocks in her life which with Ham at her side gets over them but becomes stronger which I loved her being a strong individual.
As always I love ending to KA book. She always finishes the beautifully.
