5 stars.

What the heck. Giving this 5 stars for how freaking cute it was.

I’m a sucker for friends-to-lovers. And I’m even a bigger sucker for guy-falls-first. And boy did Connor fall first and fall hard for Lana.

Summary:

Lana and Connor are childhood best friends. Connor has been in love with her for over a decade and she has no clue. She thinks he’s just overly flirty/silly/teasing with her and talks herself out of believing he has feelings for her for real. Not to mention- Lana has a lot of dad issues/abandonment issues that come into play.

Lana is convinced that the perfect book boyfriend exists and even has a long list of what the perfect guy would be.

Connor challenges Lana to find her perfect book boyfriend before her birthday and offers to see her up with dates to prove that no guy will meet her ridiculous standards while also hoping Lana will finally realize Connor is the guy for her- imperfections and all.

My thoughts:

There were some absolutely ridiculous parts in this book. Like butterfly kisses..... what in the actual world.......Also the bouncy bed....not even sure how this is earthly possible....

But Connor’s pursuit of Lana was the sweetest thing in the WORLD. and I honestly loved this book so much, even with Lana being a fool for most of it. So so cute.

I can't.

Lana the main character really got on my nerves.
Poor Connor had to deal with so much.
He deserved better!
