It was so interesting to see the whole story line from his perspective with his feelings and memories.

I absolutely love most of Colleen Hoover’s books, but this one just seemed pointless to me. I enjoyed the first two in the series, but I don’t feel like there was a need for the third in a series to be a retelling of the first

This Girl is the third and final instalment in the Slammed series. The two main characters, Lake and Will (swoon!), are reminiscing about their relationship, while offering the reader some new insights in their present day.
Books told from alternate POVs generally don't work that well due to the high level of repetition. However, Hoover really does work her magic and makes this a great story for fans of the series.
If you aren't a BIG Hoover fan, you could read book 1 and 2 in this series, and leave it as a duology. BUT if you love Hoover like I do, you'll want to read this book. I have rated this the lowest of the three, but I still really enjoyed this read.

It was really interesting getting Will's point of view. Colleen Hoover did a good job of not making the book too repetitive. We got new scenes and a different look at some of the important scenes.

I will always love Colleen Hoover's books, they are too good. However, I felt this book was somewhat unecessary, because it tells the story of the first book. This is not like most books that are told from the point of view of the guy, because the story is told in flashbacks while they are in their honeymoon and there are some new parts, in the present, at the end. I liked the new pieces that we get to see from their new lives, but I didn't need to read the story of the first book again, specially when there is a second book in the middle. Still, I enjoyed it.

They could have honestly just made the second book a lot longer and told his point of view and it would have saved a ton of money on publishing very much a wasted amount of pages but it's a co-ho story so I love it. Other than the last five chapters it really wasn't worth reading in my opinion.
