I always say it’s such a hard task to have a second book be as good as the first. This book was brilliant; the journey our heroine goes on to discover herself and her ability to be loved brought me to tears. You see her journey so clearly from the first book of being selfish to truly seeing her potential. The beginning of the second where she feels lost and burdened by the curse of her mother’s memory. And the end of the third, knowing she is so loved and choosing to love back in a way she feels is only right. It is an absolutely stunning piece and I cannot wait for the third book. I need her to have her happily ever after. Truly I our author is astonishing at how she has crafted such fully beautiful and imperfect characters. Time and time again I am amazed. The queer representation is so brilliant- nothing feels token- it just is. I have so many theories about the next book; I so hope I am right. This may become one of my favorite series.
