This book is a beautiful prayer to God with thankfulness for the sun and moon. Very poetic.

Religious theme, great art. Not much kid appeal.

This might be one of the most beautiful children's books I have ever seen. And I will be buying it for my future children.

A beautiful interpretation of St. Assisi's prayer with beautiful woodcut illustrations. Truly encompasses the beauty of the Earth.

The artwork is beautiful, but I read this book on Libby instead of on paper, and I think the experience suffered because of that

I thoroughly enjoyed this! The illustrations are beautiful, but the only thing I don't love is the actually reimagining of the canticle itself. The language is modernized instead of keeping with tradition. That might be a preference thing, but a translation would've been better than a reimagining.
