The artwork is beautiful, but I read this book on Libby instead of on paper, and I think the experience suffered because of that

I thoroughly enjoyed this! The illustrations are beautiful, but the only thing I don't love is the actually reimagining of the canticle itself. The language is modernized instead of keeping with tradition. That might be a preference thing, but a translation would've been better than a reimagining.
