The FMC was frustrating in jumping to conclusions and refusing to allow explanations. I was also expecting more dark comedy like the first book of the trilogy but I still enjoyed the story. Loved the MMC

I ended up liking Nico’s story more than I would have anticipated but ultimately wished Lauren felt more capable/self-assured than she came off. Overall strong cast of characters; Lights Out was just a 5-star book for me and Caught Up didn’t *quite* measure up.

WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?!

Loved the twist with Tyler and can't wait to hear how tf he ended up where he did by the end of the book...interested to see where things go in the third and last book of the trilogy.

I need the last book right now, Navessa!

So disappointingly underwhelming. I loved Lights Out and had so much hope for this book. I knew the characters would be different, but was hoping there was some of the fun lovable character development.

There isn’t any plot, no humor and nothing going on to keep my interest. It’s basically Just filled with erotica and not even good erotica. I went in hoping there would be laughs and a fun storyline. There’s nothing.

She’s a sex worker that’s what i assume is like an onlyfans type of account. She also loves a sex club and opens Nico’s eyes to the sex world. He wants to leave the mob for her. And that is it. Best parts were when Josh made an appearance. I’m so disappointed.
