I think the writing was extremely lazy and sloppy and the smut wasn't good at all (I've read wattpad stories written by 13 year olds that have been better). The narrators somewhat saved it but when it came to narrating in other accents it was so bad it felt offensive. This book would've been better off written as a spin off bonus chapter for its prequel rather than wasting ink and paper (or in the audiobook's case time and electricity) on an entire book.

What I liked about this book was how sex work positive it was. Everything else was meh.
The characters were pretty bland and lacked sexual tension which I think is a general problem with the Second Chance trope. The plot was boring.
Audiobook:
Well narrated overall but the female narrator's "Irish" accent was atrocious. Thankfully this was only used for a minor character but I can't for the life of me understand how this was allowed into the final cut.

I love a good book with a Camgirl FMC, Lauren has the kind of confidence that I need to unlock in my life 🙂↕️. I appreciated how this book talked about camming as a serious job. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of stereotypes that portray any kind of sex work as less than but Lauren always advocated for herself and her colleagues work which really made me enjoy this novel.
Nico, Eldest brother, and ex-boyfriend who’s apparently stalked his ex all along because he never stopped loving her, Jr? Catch me in line cause I want him too!
He knew it was her all along and was willing to wait as long as she needed to until she was ready. That’s HOT.
This book is definitely different than Lights Out but not in a bad way. At least in my opinion, it’s original and has some great content.
