Perfection. No notes. The positivity and inclusivity contrasted with the dark and morally gray setting is gripping and keeps you fully immersed the entire time.
Off the charts. Six Peppers. Between sex workers, kink clubs, and high school fantasies played out years later, there is no shortage of high spice and intense scenes.

Exploring much darker themes than its predecessor, I loved the rich character development we saw with Junior and the second chance romance he had with Lauren. Also loved that he called her Lo.
Teddy Hamilton is a fucking GOD tier narrator and was perfect for Junior. I am slightly bummed we didnโt get Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolf to reprise Josh and Aly since they were so prevalent in the book, but I imagine scheduling and costs would have been a factor.
I devoured this in one day, which should be an indication of how good the story is. The characters are well developed, Taylor is my favorite side character for sure!
Thereโs an entire page of trigger warnings (selling point for me lol), so take care to review before diving in!
