The banter is still there. However, I do not think this was as good as lights out. It just felt slow, not really dark beside mob aspects. But I do love author bring awareness to sex workers. It gives light to what they have to go through. And for Junior, he always loved her, he just didn’t know what adult love was. And Lauren, she needed to stop pushing people away and fight for what she wants.
This didn’t really hold my attention. Like I knew I was reading it but I wasn’t eager to pick it up and complete it. Nothing really shocked me in the read, but I’m excited for Tyler’s story now.

This was fun! I definitely preferred the first book and with that ending I can assume we are getting another one. I feel like this particular genre isn’t my cup of tea so I don’t want to rate too harshly. I love a good romance but most of this was just smut and minimal plot points. I am glad Junior/ Nic is bettering himself but I was kind of hoping for more.

I really enjoyed this book!
Nico Trocci and Lauren Marchetti grew up together. Junior was quickly drawn into the darkness of the mafia world that their fathers worked in and it was made clear to him that Lauren was off-limits. He pushed her away in high school and has kept his distance, but he always kept an eye on her. Now, Junior has an opening to get close to her and take what he really wants. But Lauren isn't going to forgive him so quickly for how he treated her in high school. When Lauren discovers some of the secrets that Nico has kept from her, will it be the end of them or will she end up seducing him?
Lauren and her roommates were absolutely hilarious. I loved the relationship that they had with each other and how much fun they had together. I also really loved Lauren's advocacy work. She was so strong and inspiring to stand up for not only her own rights, but the rights of all s*x workers. Nico working behind the scenes to help her get meetings with different politicians was also kind of funny to me. Personally, I like to think that he got her the meeting, but she convinced them to support her cause. I was really happy to see that Nico was open to joining Lauren at the club and exploring more of her interests. I liked how open and vulnerable Nico and Lauren were with each other. I do wish that there had been a little bit more resolution about Lauren and her sister. I can't wait for the next book though!

This was a fun read! Quick and easy, though sadly not as funny as the previous one. I liked the premise though, and I loved the found family that Lauren had! Love that she’s a sex worker, it was a blast to read about and fit well with the spicier themes of the book.
I really enjoyed this! I love seeing a man love interest who actually genuinely will do anything for their lady 🙂↕️ This one was very fun! I think I did like the first one a bit better but I will 100% be returning for the next book, Navessa is so funny and this book was actually a decent slow burn for a smut book.
