Wasn't my fav. I definitely liked the second half better than the first, though, so I think it's still worth reading if this is your kinda book!
I'm usually all about sex comes first and falling in love comes second storytelling because I love the different tension it adds to a relationship dynamic, but this was borderline almost too much smut for me. Which is weird for me to even say because I'm usually all for it.
I think she did a great job at showing how sex workers are still humans worthy of love and respect and I appreciate her emphasis on touching deeper on that subject that I haven't seen much in books--not that I've read a whole lot in that category.
But I enjoyed the mob themes, and I am definitely interested in staying for Book 3 to see where Navessa takes things next!

Was really excited after Book 1 but this sucked. Hated every second and the characters were so unlovable. Pretty bummed I wasted my Spotify audiobook time on it.
