Do the audio, for the love of everything holy, use headphones!

This pains me to do this, but I was not overly impressed with this book.

I adore Teddy Hamilton, so the narration was amazing. He did a great job narrating the character, I always love him.

Yet, I felt that I wanted more of an internal monologue. Lights Out was all over an amazing read, I laughed the whole time and kicked my feet. Caught Up, I found myself getting bored… This was not on the same level as Lights Out, to me. This fell a little flat at times.
The climactic moment was the argument with his father, and him “leaving” the family business… and there was no huge ordeal.
It all came down to a miscommunication and a conversation.
There was no real “mob” element. There was no real “business” side to this, it felt like it was entirely grazed over.
Almost like the motorcycle he rode was just merely mentioned.
There was a lot that was alluded to, but never delved into. Like I want to know what conversation Aly and Lo had at the barbecue! I think that would have been funny.
I also feel like… There could have been a little more of the humor, if Josh and Junior got so close then why were they an afterthought?

This is just my opinion but I did enjoy it, but it wasn’t what I craved from this story.
