3.5 stars (narration 4.5 stars) - These are not amazing books but I have the box set, and I have to say this one made me lol several times. The plot is kinda thin and the twist is rather meh; however, I just enjoyed their dynamic and how we got a lot of them being together (which mitigated the up in their heads doubt/miscommunication).

E. Davies has done it again! Just like all of Davies books, Grasp tells a sweet love story with a few spicy hot bits thrown in. This story of zoo vet Blane and artist Falcon tells the tale of finding more than just a hookup and realizing you're worth it. Throw in some family antics and you've got a great read. I love when a series really links around a core group like this group of Significant Brothers. Getting little glimpses into all of their lives and wondering who's story is going to be next keeps me waiting on the edge of my seat! Oh, and Ed - can Aunt Vera come back with some more truth slinging? :)

Very Sexy

I'm really enjoy this series so far. Blane and Falcon made a cute couple. I really liked Falcon's family and their reaction to Falcon's ex-boyfriend. I like how Davies brought back the couple from the first book without overshadowing the next couple. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

The soul always knows

When it finds its counterpart. Don't let the one slip away over foolish pride. Go for it, jump in with both feet and hope for the best.

Love this adorable series!

Something I am coming to enjoy in these books, both characters have unique jobs.
Zoo Vet Blane and Painter Falcon meet and find an attraction I loved it, just what I needed after listening to a pretty intense book.
Their friendship grew into a relationship they could both depend on. I loved that Falcon was there for Blane no questions, just 100% faith.
Great narration as well.

Story 3.5 C+
Narration 4 B

Greg Boudreaux does a nice job narrating this, although not the best I've heard from him. His voices for the two leads weren't distinct enough at times and I had to use dialog tags to know who was speaking. Still, his lovely voice is easy to listen to.

The story was fine but nothing original. A decent way to spend a few hours.

When two sweethearts take a chance at love, my heart melts. I simply loved the pairing of Blaine, a grumpy but kindhearted zoo vet, meets Falcon, a kindhearted surviving artist, both jaded by the dating scene but hoping to find true romance. It has a very different feel to the first book, as both characters have more interactions with friends and colleagues, making the romance all the sweeter when they have a whole community cheering for them.

I enjoyed this one even more than the first in the series and that's going some because I really liked [b:Splinter|35890552|Splinter (Significant Brothers, #1)|E. Davies|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1501551590s/35890552.jpg|57407736] which got me over a huge book slump when I finished [b:Axios: A Spartan Tale|35699997|Axios A Spartan Tale|Jaclyn Osborn|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1500392706s/35699997.jpg|57192633] from [a:Jaclyn Osborn|13856506|Jaclyn Osborn|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1500392888p2/13856506.jpg]

Blane and Falcon were a perfect partnership, although both had enough fears to mean they took their sweet time to communicate how they were really feeling to each other. However, there's relatively no angst in this one and - once they do decide to try for a casual thing - the build up in sexual tension as they move from heavy snogging to blow jobs to frotting and then a full on sex scene which oozes chemistry and emotions, is absolutely delicious.

As with book one, Ed has snuck in song lyrics from various different artists, my favourite in this one being his Spice Girls line about If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends which had me chuckling out loud.

We also get to meet Falcon's best friend Oscar, who has an interesting encounter with Blane's "Significant Brother" Roman and let me just say - hot pilot with dancer - sign me up now please!

I just like Ed's style of writing, it's casual without being sloppy, it's emotional without being overly dramatic, it's expressive without relying on plot bunnies and it's seriously sexy without being a porn fest.

It's just normal people living ordinary lives falling in love and it works for me.

This was funny and entertaining, and I really, really liked both, Falcon and Blane.

I enjoyed seeing how they cautiously go from friends to fake boyfriends and, finally! to real boyfriends. Sometimes asshole exes have their utility :P

A really delightful romance with just the right amount of angst thrown in to shake things a bit.

Greg Boudreaux's narration is very good.
