This series is awesome. Empowering, fun, keeps you on the edge of your seat. The perfect comic to read with my toddler. Can't wait to read the whole series.
A TOTALLY cute story...but I can't get over how ugly the art is. Whyyyy
Reminded me of Rapunzel's Revenge a lot but with a more tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.
I like that all the princes have to get the same stupid haircut whether they like it or not.

This is a pretty fun comic! The social commentary is not subtle but since it's for kids I don't really mind. It's still a fun story with cool characters and great art.
An amazing start to a series aimed at a younger audience, but still fun for adults. I heartily enjoyed the commentary on female warrior chic, the roles of princes and princesses, and and girls getting some things done!
Fun. Not subtle. A little too cute but despite that totally readable. Could read young if YA, I think. I liked the art; word bubble placement was terribly sloppy (and one spelling error!). Last two pages were strangely confusing, but hopefully vol 2 will
clear it up.
clear it up.
This is great. Great, great, great. I regret that it took me forever to read it, I can't wait to booktalk it to kids.
Extremely precious! If you have ever wondered why the dragon and the princess have not teamed up to rise against their oppressors (or you have read Dealing with Dragons but would maybe like to read it again a different way) then perhaps this is the comic for you.
An unabashedly fun fantasy story that turns the tired "helpless princess" trope on its head. Teenage princess Adrienne befriends the dragon guarding her tower and sets out to save her siblings who are similarly trapped. Hilarious and kid-friendly, with a POC protagonist and promoting the strength of women, it's a book I'd love to have and share with future children of mine.
This was fun, even though some of the writing was a bit obvious.
