This series is as fluffy as Star Wars gets--and few of the other graphic novel series are all that substantial, either. I do like the art style, and I like the idea of shorter, lighter stories from the SW galaxy. But this set of stories wasn't very interesting to me.

The best is a story about K-2SO, the best droid in any of the movies. The dialogue was written by Alan Tudyk, who plays K2 in Rogue One, and it all sounds exactly like the character from the movie. The story itself is silly, but it was fun to get a little bit more of the authentic K2.

The other stories are disappointing. The story about Finn and a Muppet alien is, for me, a failed attempt at lighthearted slapstick. And in the story about Luke and Leia, we have another graphic novel in which Leia is near-perfect and Luke is a total doofus. This trope of "women-are-awesome, men-are-idiots" has become tiresome in SW graphic novels. I'm very much in favor of strong female characters. But if that strength can only come because the men around them are utterly incompetent, then it has little value.

Some of these stories were a fun addition to canon, while others were on the cheezy side, but these were made for kids. I have been thoroughly entertained by these. I would have loved them as a kid.

I quite enjoyed this little comic. A mixed bag, as usual, but there were several that I really liked: the K2-SO story is quite good, the Luke and Leia story is fairly memorable, and the others are (mostly) humorous as well, though some fell a little flat.

There’s a story about porgs in this one! And it was written by Delilah Dawson who is one of my favorite Star Wars writers. There’s also a story where Leia dresses almost like her mother while on a mission and it’s feels especially because she’s just constantly saying Luke who is just being Luke. Definitely a series that’s aimed for kids, but hoping tot see more extended universe authors show up in these comics.
