Wanted to see what all of the fuss was about.
It is pretty much what you would expect. Was a light, fun, entertaining read. 
There was enough world building to keep it interesting and there were so humurous moments. It turns in to quite a sweet lovely story and unlike some other books in this genre it had a bit more substance.
Hero was sweet if a little pushy, heroine I had mixed feelings about.  
Downside was the whole everyone having to have babies and everyone seems ok with that. 🤷‍♀️ not romantic at all, I can't think of anything worse.

The first third of the book compared to the rest is complete tonal whiplash. V graphic description of rape and sexual assault followed by the other 2/3 of the book being like hehe sexy alien. Wild.

I was not onboard with the forced abortion and rape at the beginning of the book. I also didn't like the way the author was constantly trying to be funny, it would throw the rhythm of the scene off. It just wasn't for me I guess.
