So. The use of the word barbarian to describe the aliens? Not a fan. The fact that there’s only like one Black woman and everyone else is white? Oookaaaayyy. The fact that all the women are only 22 and expected to have babies and be wife-y material? Not great. The fact that the romance starts with dubious consent? Not the best moment.
Regardless. I still actually enjoyed this. It was trash, but it was fun trash. My favorite part was the humor. It was silly, but it made me smile. I really needed a mind numbing romance, and this scratched that itch.
The romance was not believable for a second, but the characters were still cute.
Plus. Aliens who love to eat pussy? What’s not to obsess about? Lol.
